What does the farm mean to me? It means everything. It's where my Saturdays are spent. It's where I learned how to work the soil, grow a fruit tree, learn to quit failing at growing clover and have success, learn how to thin timber and experience what works and doesn't work. It's where I learned how to make the farm an active investment on a tax return. But in the end, it's where I find my peace. It's where I can pull in the gate and everything else be left at the gate. It's where I can teach Lila what's important in life. The reason why I can do that is because that's where I learned what's important. It's where I was given an opportunity to lead and a passion was born. Our goal is that you and yours will experience what we have, and you will get your hands dirty too. We don't take designing your farm lightly. We get one shot at doing it right. We don't have all the answers but we hope we can make your farm what ours has been to us.
What does the farm mean to us?
MISSISSIPPI IS PRODUCING
THE HABCO WAY
Solutions come with experience. We are always testing new products to help raise the bar on our farms. From our experience, we have found that not every solution fits every farm. We work with certified crop specialists to combine premium nutrition with personal service.
We utilize a team of wildlife biologists that help us manage our clients' herd. From age structure to body weights, our biologists help us make critical decisions for our clients.
Timber is how we maximize not only the nutrition on our farms, but it's how we produce financial returns on our farms. HabCo is centered around efficiently maximizing habitat for our wildlife using cost-effective practices. From negotiating prices, to bidding off timber sales, our clients receive services that help them produce results.
Every farm has a history and a story worth being told. We offer unbiased evaluations of farms for buyers, sellers, and realtors. We have realized how important it is to develop a team of specialists to help in this evaluation. That is why we assembled a team of appraisers, foresters, biologists, and other land specialists to help evaluate the natural resources on a property. Once we understand the natural resources, we work with a team of bankers, accountants, and financial advisors to evaluate and quantify the financial opportunities and limitations for the property.
